Leicester Forest East Community Library would like to wish you all A Happy New Year!

We are sorry to announce that the library will NOT BE OPENING on Monday 4th January as planned in view of the fact the area is now in Tier 4.

The Trustees have taken this decision with a view to keeping our Library Users and Volunteers safe. The situation will be reviewed after the next Governments announcement in two weeks time.

If you need to return books you may deposit them in the Drop Box / Post Box near the doors.

The return date for books has been extended until Monday 1st February and no overdue charges will be incurred if you can not return your books before this date.

Keep safe and well.

As a Community Library and have charity status, the funding from the Local Authority will be decreasing over the next two years. In view of this we rely on various fund raising events, kind donations from the public and sponsorship.

During the current Coronavirus Pandemic we have been unable to host many events and therefore our self funding has been reduced considerably.

If you are planning to shop online in the near future please consider collecting FREE donations for Leicester Forest East Community Library.  See the poster below with details on how this can be carried out.

To make other forms of donations to the Library there is a collection box within the Library where you can leave as little or as much as you can afford.
