During the current Coronavirus Pandemic we have been unable to host many events and therefore our self funding has been reduced considerably.
If you are planning to shop online in the near future please consider collecting FREE donations for Leicester Forest East Community Library. See the poster below with details on how this can be carried out.
To make other forms of donations to the Library there is a collection box within the Library where you can leave as little or as much as you can afford.

We are pleased to announce that the LFE Community Library at 76 Rushmere Walk, LFE, LE3 3PD (next to Stafford Leys School) will be extending it's opening hours from 5th October to the following:-
Monday - 2pm to 5pm
Wednesday - 2pm to 7pm
Saturday - 10am to 1pm
You can make an appointment to browse by phoning 0116 233 6273 during the above hours. Alternatively if you turn up at the library and if the library has more than the allocated library users browsing you can queue outside until it is safe for you to enter. There are hand gels, etc., around the library for your use and you will have to wear a face mask, unless exempt.

The library is currently open at the above times on appointment basis where we allow 6 library users in at a time and a one way system is in place. There are also hand sanitizers around the library for your use.
Please phone us on 0116 233 6273 during the above times to make an appointment.
If you feel uncomfortable with coming in to the library you can still use our 'ClicknCollect' service by filling in the online form or picking one up from the library during our opening times.
We are planning to open the library on a couple more days, hopefully week beginning 28th September.
KEEP A LOOK OUT FOR THE DAYS WE WILL BE OPEN.
